About Me

A veteran of the local Minneapolis music scene, Aaron Ollswang has finally set out on his own to record and play his music. This collection of tracks and demos are the first of many to come representing a mix of Southern Rock, Cajun Blues, and a Pop sensibility. Teaming up with some of the best musicians in Minneapolis, including members of the Root City Band, City Collective, Alex Rossi's Jam Fam, 8 Switch Assembly, and many others; this new combination seems destined to yield great results!Ollswang recently returned home to Minneapolis after playing guitar with Shannon Curfman on her national Fast Lane Addiction Tour! You can generally find him out playing with his local band Stereoscope, Dan Ristrom's Big Throwdown (every Tuesday at Gluek's), his acoustic project The White Lies, with Shannon Curfman, or the occasional gig with local variety band Shirts and Skins. Ollswang is also available for hire in the right situation as well. A musician with a great work ethic, a seemingly uneding drive to play, record, write, and a real pure passion for music in general; Aaron is poised to accompolish great things!
