Contrary to popular belief, Kel Rohaly was not banished to earth from another planet, he was raised in the desert town of Tucson Arizona, and now resides in Seattle Washington. The music of Meriphew is a caffeine induced blend of cinematic electronic rock.
Meriphew's latest album 'Lovestruck' was mixed by Geoff Ott (Queens of the Stone Age, Brandi Carlile, Mark Lanegan, Jeremy Enick), and mastered by Ed Brooks (Death Cab For Cutie, Pearl Jam, Minus the Bear).
Prior to Meriphew, Kel was in Sun Conundrum, a band signed to Rich Hopkins (Gin Blossoms, Sand Rubies) label San Jacinto Records. Their debut recording was engineered by Craig Schumacher (Calexico, Neko Case, DeVotchKa) and mixed by Mike Fisher (Machines of Loving Grace).
'Lovestruck' is now available on iTunes
