Formed from the ashes of Nottingham's AUSCHWITZ FUHRER-MENSCH (early proponents of the now flourishing East Midlands Tronck scene) and LONG BONG, Northwest Techno-terrorist, TXA emerged in the dawn of 2002 with a new and unrecognisable fin-de-siecle sound, merging everything from Primal Scream to Faust, UNKLE to ELO. With the core duo in place (who shall as ever remain namless), they set about taking their tired old instruments to uncharted new realms of musical hybridism. Their debut album 'Audio Hallucinations' emerged later that year, to mixed reviews, although in hindsight this has become something of a critcs' favourite. Working their way through the dual release of 'Indian Tonic Water' and 'Retard Music' (2003) 'Stone Cold Killing' and 'Porn' (2004), and 'psycho-geek' (2005), their sound has developed to encompass every musical genre knwon to man, as well as creating a few of their own, most notably bringing Tronck to the forefront, a movement that could loosely be labelled as Teutonic Industrial Punk Gabba which has steadily pervaded the East Midlands, spreading inexorably from it's Nottingham homeland. TXA are currently at a musical juncture which finds them elevated to a new level of shitter-tronic babble, and deeply immersed in the creation of their new double album, 'Prik', due for release at the end of 2006. Expect a preceding single'Toxic Megacolon' in the summer. And then, Tronck will shit itself...
