On April Fools Day 1991, a star was born and that’s no joke! Jonathan “Brisky†McGowan a Jacksonville, Florida native gained a love for music at a very young age. Even though Jonathan was shy as a kid he was never hesitant when put in front of an audience. His passion for music has enabled him to develop his craft over the years to become who we know now as Jon Jon. A 18 year old rapper/songwriter with an indescribable dedication to become a household name.
Brisky has accomplished many goals that he has set for himself. He has performed for the Orlando Magic Read to Achieve Program and half time shows. He’s taken part in reading with some of the players, to children throughout the Orlando, Florida area. He’s also opened up for artist such as: Pretty Ricky, Kanye West, Akon, and Twista before a crowd of 19,000 people. Brisky loves being on stage and captivating an audience.
His other accomplishments include being one of the Youth Charter Award Recipients 2005, being accepted into The Performing Arts High School in his Hometown, Who’s Who Among America’s High School Teens 2006-2007 and is a member of The National Society of High School Scholars. Between his studies and his career, his schedule has become pretty hectic. However, Brisky has managed to maintain a 3.5 GPA.
Brisky is ready to show the world that he is more than just another teen rapper and that he’s got just what it takes!
