Influences: I grew up in Central N South Jersey (Ocean/Monmouth Counties Stand up!) Listening to Mister Magic on the Radio, watchin Hot Traxx on TV, tryn to uprock, windmill and backspin on cardboard, who's ears were first blessed by the sounds of hip-hop back in the late 70s to early 80s. The area of Jersey I'm from was in an area where I could get NYC radio and Philly Radio so big up Philly for being an early influence on me as far as hip-hop is concerned. I clearly remember being a lil shorty of around 4-5, that would've been '79/'80.. hearing and being mesmerized by hip-hop. All I cared about was cartoons, Kung Fu flicks on Ch 5, and hip-hop. Early artists like GM Flash and the F5, Treacherous 3, Africa Bambaata, StetsaSonic, Run-DMC, Whodini and many others gave me the soundtrack to my youth. Later artists such as Doug E Fresh & the Get Fresh Crew, The Juice Crew - WBLS(Kane was my all time favorite back then, followed by The GOD Rakim, Kool Moe Dee when he was shittin on LL), EPMD, Force MDs, UTFO, Disco 3( later changed to the Fat Boys), MC LYTE, BDP Just-Ice, D-Nice were just a few of my favorites. Schooly D, Public Enemy, Native Tongues OMMFG ATCQ was killin shit backindaday!! Dela, Black Sheep, KMD, 3rd Bass, Beasties, NWA, Geto Boys, Scarface been on some ill shit for a minute now, definitely one of my favorites. GANGSTARR!!! PREMO!! NUFF SAID! JERU, Group Home, NiceNSmooth, any beat that Primo Touched was (shit still is) food for my ears. Preem I'm feelin them NYG niggaz too Year Round Records yaheard?? Pete Rock & CL Smooth, "the creator" was my shit.. Pete Rock, I be fighting with myself over who I like better between you and Preem.. Keep giving us the real. Marley Marl, Easy Mo Bee, Hitman Howie, Hurby Luv Bug, Bomb Squad, Dr Dre, Battlecat, Mel-Man, JustBlaze, Kanye, Adam F, Storch, all my down Souf producers, Y'all fuel my passion to create hip-hop.. THANKS. WuTang, RZA flipped the game on its ear at a time when it was needed, ya beets is nuts too.. WuTangForever RIP Dirt Dog. Being From Jersey I gotta Include all the people who made it in Hip-Hop From Jersey and made me feel like I could too. I'm talking PRT from Trenton, Latifah, Naughty, LOTUG, REDMAN from THE BRICKS and the surrounding areas, EO, JC newer niggas Like Jump-Off Joe Budden, Nucci Reyo, Scarfo are holdin it down for Jersey. Early DJs who I can say influenced me first and foremost was my Dad(love you pop!) Growing up I watched him rock many a party, and I also have him to thank for breaking down all the early hip-hop i listened to in my youth and schooling me on where all the breaks and samples were coming from. Dad without your influence in my life I probably would not be a DJ/beat-maker and I thank you. I remember hearing "AJ scratch" I think thats the name of the joint.., Lets see.. Jazzy Jeff was killin it backindaday, OF COURSE JMJ RIP you are the mold from which hip-hop DJs are created the Hip -Hop world misses you and wants to see justice in your case. Ron G, Kid Capri, S&S.. the list goes on and if I forgot anybody its because I smoke mo' weed than Snoop and B-real in Amsterdam.. Peace ------**RAP is something you do.. HIP-HOP is something you live breathe eat and shit!!**hit the link below http://www.dropcash.com/campaign/heydjent/dj_gear_needed/BBE PROD. & HEY DJ ENT.™BoomBox Era Prod.™Hey DJ Ent.™
