"UNSIGNED TUNE OF THE ISSUE"
Hotelsinus
Dnb Horns
"This guy deserves a mention here for his beard alone, and was also part of a notorious Commodore 64 hacking-crew back in the day. As such, he’s been making music for a long time... and it sounds like it! This track runs at about 155 BPM and is best described as a memorable journey to Planet Funkdom. He uses classic Roland TB-303 basslines but in a modern, processed fashion and then just kills it with blazing horn fills and sexy-ass piano. This really is something SPECIAL – a lot of today’s top producers couldn’t replicate this."

It was in this year Ive started to show interest in computers, but only graphics-wise. I became a member of the Europe-wide Commodore 64 hacker-demo scenes renowned Hungarian group, Faces. There I got to know Greg, who was a musician in the group. I was impressed by the stuff he was making, and I wondered how it is possible to make music with computers, since I didnt have any previous musical skills. I quickly got a digitizing card for the 64 that you had to assemble at home. The C64 had three analogue synthetized sound channels, - much like todays cell phone beeps with some extra (more about this in Gregs bio) and abusing the computers soundchip hardware error- it was possible to have an extra digitized sound channel. 4 bits, I mean This one digital channel proved to be far too few for me, and it was very low quality anyway, but at that time, this was the maximum.I write drumandbass and jungle music science 1992-93....Hotelsinus is the name under which i am releasing my music and sound design. My mainly producing drum and bass but im open and experimenting towards other genres too, and it is my plan too, to come out with some music that is different from what i ma done so far.II planning to release my first vinyl and searching for a label and distributor, mainly in the UK. I am released my tunez only on the web (check the downloads) and on cd-r's.My most inspired by drum and bass music of the '94 - '99 period (could be called old school now), which i think was the time when there were plenty of exciting, witty, flexible and dynamic tracks around. I like Photek, Ed Rush and Optical, P.O.T., Ram Records releases, Jonny L, Teebee, Future Prophecies, [genetix], Denius, Icr to name a few.
BIG UP ! 4ALLI also like the fields of music, ambient, taiko, minimalist techno, idm, and any electric beats too.see more info about my work and music at www.hotelsinus.com and www.mustbeat.com
