For those that don't know me I am the one and only' Gnice Hip-Hop R&B n Soul. I was born and raised throughout the projects and rural parts of Connecticut. My roots stem from a long line of musicians including the Langley 5 and former Polygram recording artists Shomari, both in which have proclaimed a rightful mark in the music indusrty/world(see langley's history and or Shomari's page below for more info). My father one of the Langley 5', being one of those musicians, was known as one of the best Vocalist and Bass players of his time. My mother' was a hard working woman determined to see her children succeed. I managed to excel in athletics. Karate, Football, and Track & Field mainly, and I earned top honors in each. Eventually, I will go back to school and earn my B.A. I am an artist and a designer. I have my own clothing line and small business called 76 gear' and 76 Custom Design. We do custom everything' boots, kicks, clothes, logo's, cd covers you name it we can provide it. I am currently the Head Illustrator of the Street Connfinement Magazine one of the largest and fastest growing Hip-Hop Magazine's from Ct.to the Tri-State. I dance and choreograph along with my team' our own routines. I am part of a crew called Dynamic Grooves' formally know as B.S.C., and Elm City Breakers' along with Aja B. of Ajas school of dance. I am also a Personal Trainer and Martial Arts Instructor, and teach private lessons. Now it's time to face the music. I have been singing and rhyming since the tender age of 7. I started by singing in church choirs, to singing in back hallways, on corners, to winning talent shows. When I first started rapping my mother noticed my potential and allowed me to recreate our choir list's in rym form. Although I was blessed with the ability to do both rap and sing, I was only recognized for my singing ability being birthed into a predominantly singing family. I hid my rap skills and just sang, because I didn't think people would take me doing both serious. Now' I just shot the gift's God has given me. I am a licenced song writter for BMI, and own my own independant company' Gnice Productions. First off I would like to bigg up my Dj'Dj Wydow head of marketing and booking in Ct. Dj Wydow of I.L. holds me down providing me with an outlet to showcase my ability, and bigg up to my step-brother Dj Taliano of GniceProductions and (SPI) who heads marketing and promotions for me in Arizona. My Band's'' Gnice n Ct Rootz Asiatic Funk' Shomari'and The Family Band' and the Langley Brother's Band and The Langley Project (see band members' for members names). I have been blessed to calab with my sisters Jessica and Veronica on this venture. Veronica a.k.a Fathom is an Increatible MC and Vocalist. She plays 3 Instruments, Produces her own beats, writes and arranges her own material, writes poetry'' you name it she can do it. Her ability is unmatched and can be considered genius. Jessica' with whom which I started singing with before the uprise of GnV'is back. Jessica A.K.A Keywest is back with a vengence, writing and leading vocals on numerous projects and show's' with a powerful yet smooth style like no other. Jessica' is also a Gnice Productions Model', and Heads the Gnice Production Models (See Jessica's page for booking details). I am also blessed to have abord my brother Jordan AKA A.C.E Co.fouder of SoulaMusik. SoulaMusik' an independent label with a sound Un-herd'. This Team of Cousins bring that fire and soul to the table. BlackSol (my cousin) and A.C.E. (my brother) really put that true artistic and creative, witty style to the game(They along with myself are tracking out and selling song's). Last but certainly not least I have been colabing with quite a few Indie's who have proclamed there own rightful mark in the game. Barron of Mone' Ent.'(my cousin) and his dynamic artist IRAKK', Licshot of Blackout Ent., Llc' an Independant Label with a sick roster' Collie'Young D' and The Boss Himself'Licshot, 234 Entertainment, CEO Wiz a real and motivated individual, and musician runs a tight ship. He along with Super Underground Producer Diz A.K.A BennyBlanko are colaborating on numerious LP's and Mixtapes hitting the streets.
