Ramsey Raphael Diaz better known as RAPHY-L THE EXCELLENCE, is a producer hailing from Jersey City, New Jersey. The beats he creates come from a broad spectrum of music - Hip hop, R&B, and Reggaeton, all displays of the eclectic influences he has had throughout his life. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic then raised in New York City, the Caribbean music of the island and the Hip hop and soul of the East Coast undoubtedly have contributed to his production style. Making music since the age of 15, RAPHY-L has learned that hard work, dedication, and passion are all essential parts of creating music that touches the soul.
"I believe that my music speaks what words could not express," states RAPHY-L when asked about the driving force behind his beat making. He has worked with many underground artists from various genres locally and internationally. He has also worked alongside major label producers in both Hip-hop and Reggaeton contributing to some major chart toppers.
