Until The Day of Eternity

About Me

My name is Chris, also known as: Bernie Withins, Chris Within, Wheat, The Walking New York Giant, and called a few other things, but never to my face. I love to write; love all kinds of music and try to find a humorous side in things. I try not to take myself too seriously, but I don't sell myself short either. I'm an optimist, but not a blind optimist. I see reality through eternity and that makes this temporary phase of life incredibly important and meaningful. None of us are who we think we are, we are who God knows we are and in that case we should be more honest with ourselves. I play guitar for a brutal melodic metal explosion on the rise from a basement to your conscience in no time. Were looking for a singer; click the video below to get a taste of what were doing.

Read the bible daily, even if it is for 10-15 mins... read a proverb everyday, Wisdom is food for the soul.

Heroes:

I think we all recognize something beautiful in self-sacrifice, something that in our better moments we wish we lived up to. I think the term "hero" means many things in the English language. It means so many things that it means nothing really, and anyone is a hero. Nevertheless, we know better, and we recognize those who by their lives have authority over us, they see the storm and they press on. They seem to say, "Yes, I know that the troubles are real I am not denying their existence. What I am denying is that they are the only thing that exists! Behind all the facts of pain and suffering, are bigger facts of Glory and Eternal Comfort." We can only overcome this phase of human existence when we lay down our arms and sweep away the props and surrender.

For what does it profit to gain the whole world, if you lose your eternal soul?
