The World Turned Edgar

About Me

First off, The World Turned Edgar could never have been conceived without the wit, wisdom and creativity of "Lord" John Galbraith who ensured that the Tequilla and the ideas never stopped flowing.....so wherever you are.....thanx!!! Also, for his dedication to the cause a huge thanx goes out to my good friend Wally Riley!!! Hope you're well Sir Walt?Edgars first album "The Gravity Nonsense Effect" was a mix of psychedelia, psychoanalysis and self parody. Several reviewers claimed the contents to have embraced the spirit of Captain Beefheart, early Bowie and the Bonzo's. Intended as a one off only to be distributed amongst our friends we found ourselves pressing a hundred copies which quickly sold at open mike events. It seemed putting a band together was the decent and honourable thing to do. Enter Jana Landolt and Pieter Samaguzo.Several rave gig reviews, a brief flirtation with BBC Radio 2 and plenty of local airplay Edgar are preparing to hit the road to promote the new album "Samsara Is A Strange Show".
