Emerging from the dirty, dreary, depths, of the industrial, automotive sludge factory that is Windsor/Essex County; Estella Fritz is a four-man power-rock combo who’s music “is strong and has a definite sense of purpose and direction” – Upfront Magazine.From their first jam the band took off and didn’t take long to start a buzz and a decent live following. “It is not often that you go to a show in Windsor and see a local band called onto the stage for an encore after an hour-long set, but it happened.” – The Lance (Michelle Ferrari). They even received a nod from major new rock station 89X Windsor / Detroit, “Estella Fritz is the band to see in Windsor.” – 89X (Kelly Brown)After laying down two 4 song samplers that were distributed to well over 1000 fans at shows, doing a live radio interview on CJAM 91.5 University of Windsor Radio, receiving airplay on two major rock stations; 89X Windsor / Detroit, and 95.1 The Rock Chatham / Windsor. As well as making it onto rotation holding a top ten spot for three weeks on CJAM 91.5. The band felt they needed a change of scenery.They made the move to the epicenter of Canadian music – Toronto. With high hopes, and new inspiration Estella Fritz went into heavy writing and some performing. Within just two months they performed a live, in studio show at major rock station 102.1 The Edge, and received an impressive response.With a ten song recording coming to wrap and a very busy performance schedule Estella Fritz are preparing to send waves through the Canadian music scene.
