About Me

World's Demise formed in 1998 by B-man, Dan B. and Danny went right to the big stage playing their first show for about 4000 people at the Rapid Parts Waterfest. Under a different name and playing mostly covers they decided a change was needed. They fired the lead singer Joe, and enlisted the services of the Herv with a scheduled show about a week away. The show went off for about 12 people (mostly friends) and a curly haired guy in the back doing sound at the back door in Nyack. Herv and brandon decided the band should go heavier and do all original tunes. A full year of writing and practicing followed. Still in search of a bass player the feelers went out. B-man a born salesman could sell Ice in the dead of winter befriended that curly haired guy from the back door. Enter ED playing bass for his own punk band decided he might be in to a heavier side project. Worlds Demise is born with their first show at Obsessions. Their first cd Dark Days Ahead found some fans and started to build a local following. Several band member changes occured. Ed wanting to give his main band the full time and attention they deserved decided to leave the band not before finding his own replacement Noah. Unfortunately Noah though a great bass player did not really fit with the chemistry of the band. Dan B. found love and became distant. Subsequently Dan B. was asked to leave the band. Ed decided he would like to come back and play guitar for Worlds Demise. Again in search of a Bass player, a few people were tried out. Enter Steve a young guy with no transportation who could play bass. The new line up worked for about a year and new songs seemed to write themselves. Unfortunately member changes plagued Worlds demise. Danny decided he would like to persue other avenues of music and hooked up with Noah to start another band. Now in search of a Drummer Worlds Demise enlisted the help of Arbitrary Drummer Charles to help out with a couple of shows and help record a CD. The Innocent Burn was recorded and a new drummer Bryan was found. The band as a whole decided that in order to gain recognition a tour was needed. Exit Herv who while being in the band got married and had a kid was not willing to leave the fam in search of greater things. A few more shows followed with Herv on the mic. In the summer of 2003 Worlds Demise was no more after more than five years of making music. All the band members have stayed friends with the exception of Dan B. and may once again rock the stage in the future... width="425" height="350" ..
