About Me

..I come from a creative family, my mother a popular artist and my father who had an interest in photography. I grew up browsing through magazines such as National Geographic and Arizona Highways. I had a wide variety of interest but photography was something that I never lost interest in.Growing up in a rural environment taught me to have a respect for nature and the beauty of the world, which I try to express in my nature and wildlife images. Our family vacation trips lead to my fascination with the American landscape.I'll never forget the National Geographic magazine that sparked my interest in lightning photography and storm chasing. When I saw the images, I was determined to find out how it was done.During my four years at Wilmington College, I discovered my true passion while taking the photography classes offered. I graduated with a BA in 1994. Since then I've been doing portraits, weddings, chasing storms, shooting stars, and the landscapes across the country.Photography brings out the artist and the scientist in me, and it gives me a chance to study the various subjects that I am interested in.Any questions, suggestions, or comments for this website or the images are welcome.
