When I look in the mirror, I see what others don't see. When God looks at me, He sees the precious life He created so marvelously. I can never give Him what He has given me so freely. But I can try my best to please Him. I am not perfect. I never portrayed myself as better than the next person. I just know what my heart desires. I am a lover of fine things. But nothing is more precious than God, my family and all those in between. I can be edgy at times, but I love with every ounce that is within me. What I feared the most, I'm learning to accept with God's help. He has brought me a long way and is still carrying me through the storm. I will not succumb to the devil and his trickery. I am who God said I am. I am strong. I am wise. I am a Queen. I am keen to the streets and all the games that come with it. I am adventurous. I can be soft. But don't ever take me for granted because I am a Boss. I am a mother. I am a lover of sports. Yes, my Gmom used to say, "you'll never get a boyfriend if you keep fighting the boys." That's what makes me who I am. I refuse to be controlled. If you think, you have one up on me. I am ten steps ahead of you. I am humble. I am submissive. Don't misconstrue my being independent. I love to cater to the Boss of all Bosses. My mother often told me, "no matter what your father does, I will never deny him what he loves the most." With that said mother, "I know what treasures we hold and what makes our King happy." Intimacy is the key factor in all relationships. To the young women of the future, don't confuse the two; complement your mate, don't just compliment him. There is a huge difference. What God joins together, "Can no man put asunder." Cherish what you have. Don't take life for granted. One thing we're all promised is death. Don't wait until it's too late to show the ones you love how much they truly mean to you. He moved Abraham, Moses, to name a few and when He loves you, you may not understand His moves at first, but when you sit back and analyze everything in your life, you will understand that, "all things work together for good for those who love God."
