About Me

DUAL has been in existence since 1993. I recorded a 6 song EP in my friend Lisa's basement. Her dad did all of the recording and mixing on an 8-track analog Tascam reel to reel. I've remained true to the analog format ever since. There hasn't been much public output. I sold about 40 copys of the 6 song EP to friends and schoolmates back in '93 (cassetes). There was a cassette given out to family and friends for the Christmas season back in 2000. The tape consisted of 11 songs spanning '96-'00. In 2001 I was asked to score a play for a friend of mine. 'How I Learned To Drive' ran in Minneapolis for awhile and my score was met with flattering praise. The title track is still one of my gems and fellow musicians have flattered me with their positive feedback. I recorded a concept album in 2002 called 'Northern Drama.' Recently, I've started to sort out songs for a proper recording, one that can see a proper DIY release. I will begin recording in the Autumn months and hopefully be mixed and ready for the public's ears by Winter.Myspace Layouts
