. First I'ld Like you to Know . My Interest is in Country music and an avid fan of the late Elvis . AS a young boy into my 20's I have sung on stage In many clubs of unknown In the Country circuit. Because of the era Country music was not As widely viewed or listened to As it is today Because of the era and time.. THe North usd The Hillbilly word as criticizm . Like Country singers were Country hicks with littlebrains My dad in his words said,, Country music is nice to listen to but to be a country singer Is not the life to live because theres no money in it. Its an occupation for Barroom bums , Drunks And drugs.. So I was never in the position to get family support. In those days most took Country music artist as a hobby . Something to do on weekends.. AS I grew older I've always envied THese entertainiers . wishing and imagining they were me.. After my father died And My mother. I more or less put my music aside.. They are some Good Country singers today but i'm more into The Older Country. Like George Jones, Merle Haggard. Tammy Wynette.. Ernest Tubb.Ferlin Huskey, Jim Reeves. Marty Robbins. Kitty Wells
