About Me

Yerba Buena Center for the Arts

is the Bay Area’s premier venue for adventurous art. Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, the Center celebrates our area’s cultural diversity with dynamic visual, performing and media arts programs presented in world-class venues.

Our Galleries, Forum, Screening Room, and Box Office are located at 701 Mission Street at Third, and our Theater is at 700 Howard Street at Third.

Gallery hours are Sunday,Tuesday,Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from noon to 5 pm, and Thursday from noon to 8 pm.

Gallery admission is $7 general, $5 seniors, teachers and students, and FREE for Center Members.

When the galleries are partially open, admission is $5 general, $3 seniors, teachers and students, and FREE for YBCA Members.

Our Galleries are now open FREE to the public the first Tuesday of every month!!!

Programs Include:

Local, national and international dance, theater and music performances are scheduled year-round in the Forum and Theater as part of our YBCA PRESENTS PEFORMANCE series.

Evening film/video screenings are programmed throughout the year in our Screening Room.

Community Engagement programs also explore YBCA's exciting range of exhibitions, performing arts and film/video programs.
