Chris was born in Cleveland, MS on February 19, 1985. He has lived his whole life in the small town of Indianola, MS. Chris started playing guitar in high school at age 15. He also started writing his own music a couple of years later. He attened college at Mississippi College and earned a degree in Christian Studies and Philosophy. Shortly after graduating he moved to Carmel, IN.
Chris's music draws its influence from such artist as John Mayer, Jon McLaughlin, Matt Nathanson, and the Goo Goo Dolls. He writes in hopes that people will listen to his music and really relate to it on a deeper personal level. He writes about life experiences that have happened to him or some of his closest friends. The message in his music is simple, you can find hope and happiness in some of the smallest things in life. Writing about love, life, and individual circumstances he hopes that when you hear his music you can close your eyes and picture yourself as the main character of the story.
