Lara is a professional sax player, studied New York (Manhattan School of Music) and Manchester UK (Royal Northern College of Music, University of Manchester) Masters degree, freelance player. Gigs UK wide, previous work includes throughout Europe and in New York, ensembles, bands, quartets, solo artist, concerti, orchestral work etc. etc.Work includes BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Opera North, Welsh National Opera, Graham Massey's Toolshed, Orquesta Timbala, Cornelius Cardew Ensemble, Martel Ensemble, concerto soloist, recital artist, sessions for radio and TV, various chamber groups and quartets, festival bands etc. etc. etc.New CD of contemporary classical saxophone repertoire available early 2009.
