.. .. WKDU Electronic Music Marathon
The electronic music marathon has been a fund raising activity at WKDU 91.7fm Philadelphia since 1997. We have raised money in the past for numerous charities both in and around the Phildelphia area. Most recently we raised over $4,000 last year for Musicopia/Strings for Schools. To date, we have raised over $20,000 for both local and national charities.. all with one goal.. to make music the key to a better world! Some of our past charities have included Philabundance, PhiladelphiaFIGHT, NOVA, Philly PAWS, Village of Arts and Humanities, and the Red Cross.
All EMM performers are required to raise at least $50 in sponsorship money, which will be donated to the designated charity. If you would like to sponsor a DJ, you can make a donation via paypal account [email protected] please specify which DJ(s) you would like to support so we know to whom we should credit those funds.
