Born in Jacksonville NC, Damien is the youngest of three. At an early age he was drawn to music of all types. "Music, to me, is one of the greatest forms of expression,and I have a lot to share." He is skilled with 6 and 12 string guitars,djembe hand drums,and Native American 5 and 6 hole flutes. " There are so many beautiful outlets for music! I'll never stop learning new instruments."
With his heart deeply planted in Americas Deserts, Damien says hes found his home. "I have travled all over this great country many times,but I'll always come back here to the desert" Through his journeys early on he found places where he felt so much power and spirituallity. "The Desert of the Colorado Plateau is so amazing! I feel such peace here in the deserts hideaways. Out in the back of beyond." He loves the southwestern desert, canyons,rivers, and streams. "Powerful places they are, so spiritual,so ancient." Through these places he gains inspiration for his soothing music.Currently Damien produces his music on his own. Always ready to collaborate with like minded people, but says it seems easier to do it alone.
