Young Money was born on September 24, In the Jefferies Projects of Detroit, MI. At age 10 he began rapping and immediately began recording. A strong street buzz quickly followed. At age 12 he left home and really began to master his craft battling other Mc's older than himself. After the untimely death of his father and best friend he left for Atlanta where he signed a deal with a independent label RSG Entertainment at age 16. He began doing mixtapes to start his buzz and quickly gained credibility for being a force to be reckoned with. The top names in the music industry employed Young Money to bless their tracks. After creating a local buzz in the ATL he decided to switch his moniker. Young Money Mane was born!
