Sawyers the venue was born in June 2004 as a result of two peoples passion for live music.
after tarting the place up a bit, fitting a decent in house PA, and recruiting a good sound man and decent hard working promoters, you now see before you one of the county's leading live music venues.
Sawyers now hosts live music five nights a week,a mix of many different styles, from punk to blues to heavy rock and metal, with many well known and touring acts. br we also serve fantastic beer, with a smile, which as a result made the Camra good beer guide 2006-2009! Newby Wyke, Oakham, Hopback, and Kettering's very own Potbelly Brewery can be found on Sawyers bar regularly as well as plenty of guest ales
So come on down and check it out, good music, good beer, great people, and a fantastic atmosphere all go together to make the Sawyers experience unique.
