Preacher Gone To Texas formed in 1999. The band went through numerous line-up changes early on and eventually was composed of the following:

Mark Anthoney-Bass
Matt Johnson-Vocals
In the summer of 2002 the band joined with Sinister Label to release an eight song full-length entitled "Choice vs. Chance" . The bands final effort "From the Heartland" was released in the summer of 2004. Preacher gone to texas played thier last show in June of 2004.

Mike Kvidera lives in Brooklyn, NY. he is working for a website and is playing in a band called The Brown Book
Matt Moody lives in Los Angeles, California. He is a para-legal in a lawfirm and playing in a band called Mikoto .
Matt Johnson is moving to Lansing, Michigan. He is planning to attend Michigan State University. He is playing in a band called
Ignite the Will .
TJ Cornelis lives in Washington, DC. He is currently pursuing a bachelors degree at The George Washington University, double majoring in International Affairs and Religion.
Mark Anthoney lives in Iowa City, Iowa. He is pursuing a PhD in Media Studies. He is playing washtub bass in a group called Escape the Floodwater Jug Band
Seth Campbell lives in Bettendorf, Iowa. He is a case manager at the Handicapped Development Center. Seth also plays in Ignite the Will .
