E-merj, a group of four young entertainers, ages ranging from 18 to 20, are anxiously waiting for their chance to spark and E-merj into the industry. Their unique styles of entertaining all branch off from well renowned artists like Usher, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Dru Hill and New Edition. Born and Raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, E-merj has experienced the hardships of performing their craft in a city most known for Jazz and Rap music and the devastating tragedy at the hands of "Hurricane Katrina". These circumstances did not discourage the group, for it only inspired them to work harder and create a fresh new act they know the public will love. E-merj started in 2003 and quickly became fan favorites in New Orleans after opening for Bad Boys Da Band, and J recording artist Mario at venues such as Bayou Classic and concert Teen Summit. These young men earned the name Talent Show Kings as they dominated every stage they performed on and left the crowd asking, Who is E-merj? The answer became simple; Ethan, L.j., Reggie, and Brandin are the voices that make the group. These four entertainers all posses key attributes that make up E-merjs uniqueness and discreet dancing techniques. With songs like 2-nite, one of those feel good summer songs and Shelter a song you can groove to while telling that special someone exactly how they make you feel are examples of the versatility in writing that are vital to catch all crowds of listeners.
