Thank you Danielle!!Reposted from another sight....Dear Real Rock Pro People & Mike Farris Fans,I hope this message finds you all well and happy. Although the official press release has not been completed, Mike and I felt that you have supported him through the years and you deserved to hear this news first and from us.Mike has been living in Tennessee with his family for the past couple of years. He has devoted himself to the Lord and has chosen a path toward spiritual commitment and enlightenment. He has also written some incredible music. So many times when I’d see posts from you speculating on what was up with Mike, I had to stop myself from telling you what was going on, and for this I beg your understanding. The time was just not right.But now, I can tell you (with Mike’s permission) that Mr. Farris has inked a deal with INO Records in Nashville. INO is a Christian label with ties to Sony Music. I cannot tell you how wonderful the people at INO are. They “got†Mike’s music instantly. The music is all spiritual in nature, very much in the gospel vein; something that you’ll agree comes naturally to our favorite singer. Speaking of natural, considering he’s been writing spiritually based lyrics since the very beginning, this music is a natural progression for Mike.The tunes ROCK, JUMP and are guaranteed to move you no matter what or how you believe. (Christian, Jew, or a TV Screen?) There are 11 songs in all and down the road Mike will tell you all about them and the inspiration for each song. The album is called “Salvation In Lights†and is tentatively scheduled for an April 2007 release date.Brenn is working on updating the Mean It Management site where more information will be available soon. In the near future, Mike will have a website as well as a myspace page and we will be streaming music. I ask that you continue to respect Mike’s privacy and his desire to maintain a normal and healthy environment for his family…and please know that we will be posting information as it becomes available.
