"THE RAW VYBES STORY"Mr Mayhem, Motive & Alizae were all involved in DJing and music before they linked up to form the sound you know as "The Raw Vybes Family" in 2004. Since then this DJ collective have taken the London R&B club circuit by storm, performing @ prestigious venues such as The Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Aquarium, Sound, Area, Rococo, Silks & Spice, Worship, Departure, Hackney Central + many many more. As well as being involved in and hosting their own successful events such as "TOUCH ME", "GOOD", ILLUSTRIOUS", "SPORTSWEAR JAM @ Bar Rumba" "FIXATION, "2BEINLUV" and "VYBESIN" to name a few, over the past 3 years Raw Vybes have gained a reputation as the scene's most entertaining, versatile and consistent sound, playing week in week out at various events all over, and out of London.
Having started there seperate solo carrers on Mystic 98.1FM in early 2003 they left in March and July 2004 and had short stints on stations such as Touch FM & Raw Blaze to return to Mystic in Late 2004 as a collective and establish themselves as the most proffesional DJ's on the station gaining the attention of various established promoters and DJ's in the scene, as well as a loyal army of listeners and supporters who tuned in weekly to all 3 of there shows and many cover shows throughout the week.
As things started to progress and bookings increased so did conflict with other DJs on the station and it soon became clear that if Raw Vybes was to progress and move forward then they had no choice but to leave.
So in October 2005 they took the big step and moved to the hugely popular
Flames 94.4 Fm (now 106 FM) where they held down various popular daytime, drivetime and prime time shows and proved they could cut it at the top level of pirate radio. They left Flames for Sweet 89.4fm & joined the legendary DEJAVU 92.4FM & HTTP://WWW.VULIVE.CO.UK in Dec 07 where Motive currently hosts 'The Raw Vybes Show' every saturday 6-8pm!
proving their talents stretch beyond the promotion & club circuit.Raw Vybes have Interviewed many high profile artists from the Uk, USA & Jamaica on their radio shows including: Baby Cham, Vybz Kartel, Pretty Ricky, Mad Cobra, Stephen Marley, Kano, Joe Black, Double S, Craze 24 Bigz, Stone Love Sound and many more.These guys are an exciting group of young entertainers with a love for music
who NEVER fail to entertain and always bring an energy and fun house party
element to there set as well being at the cutting edge of every music genre and setting trends by playing new tunes before other DJ's.
