PRIMITIVE ANGEL GOSPODEN Biography PRIMITIVE ANGEL GOSPODEN came into existence by the brothers Asen (guitars, vocals, synthesizers) and Nord (drums) in late June of 1998. Ever after they remained intact to bands genuine musical style uncompromising black metal that radiates aggression, majestic harmonies and chilling atmosphere, along with the philosophically based poetry. PRIMITIVE ANGEL GOSPODEN, together with the bass guitarist Gospod, successfully participated on several important gigs and fests in Bulgaria. In the last months of 1999 the band filled Zdavko to play the synthesizers. With this line up in December of the same year they recorded bands debut album DRUNEMETON that contains four songs, with the typical atmosphere of the Nordic black metal dark and cold music written by Asen and lyrics by Nord. It was co-produced by Niki Velev and Asen. Soon thereafter Zdravko and Gospod got kicked out of the band and Angel joined on the guitar and bass. In the beginning of the year 2000 Asen and Nord created a new project band poetically named FROM THE WATERS OF LAKE completely inspired by bands like My Dying Bride, The Gathering and Anathema. The melancholic music of this compositions let you dive in dimensions of freezing achords, in divine contrast of the melody sometimes tender, sometimes even brutal. In September 2000 Asen and Nord enrol in the army, which stops their work in the band for more than a year. After their return they decided to proceed with the music and the two bands began their life again. In October 2002 Katia joined the band on the synthesizers and the machine began to work with full power. After several months their previously unreleased album DRUNEMETON became available through PigHouse Records as split with Darkmoon Rising. After that, during September November 2003, PRIMITIVE ANGEL GOSPODEN finished the work on their new split album, this time together with their gothic-doom project From The Waters Of Lake. The Album contains new and improved versions of three of the songs from the DRUNEMETON album, and three new songs of From The Waters Of Lake. The length of the album is 40 min. which are ideologically and artisticly sustained in the spirit of this two bands. It was recorded in The Old House Home Studio, and it was produced by Asen and Nord. At the end of 2005 two of the members leave the band because of personal and professional reasons.They are the keyboardist Katia and the guitarist Angel,which were successfully replaced by Mikka on the synths and Phantom on the bass guitar.
