Music For Your Mind

About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Red slick

He’s often called a "Renaissance man", but SHAWN BEDIAKO, the mastermind behind S.A.K.H.U. SOUNDZ, keeps it all in perspective. From 1994 to 2001, Bediako earned his stripes as a musician and songwriter with several indie bands and artists in Little Rock, Philadelphia, Durham, and Cincinnati. His solo EP project - entitled "iCONOCLAST" - pushes the boundaries of hip hop music. "Sakhu" is an ancient Kemetic word that, roughly translated, means "the illumination of the mind." It is the root from which the Greek word "psyche" was derived. S.A.K.H.U. SOUNDZ seeks to connect and collaborate with artists who have a purpose, a conscience, a vibe, and a groove - in short, those who make music for the soul.
