Music and theatre, but not musical theatre. Making lists, Wrestling, Dungeons, Dragons, Geeks, Internet, Basketball, Civilizations, Simulations, (learning to be as cool as) Sam Rockwell.
People who think I'm a big deal.

Lyric(s) of the Right Now:

I work with purpose, bitches...
My Top 10:
1: Swingers - It reached me at a time when I needed it. I don't see anything dethroning it.
2: American Psycho - The film that made me a fan of Christian Bale. It's hilarious, in the right mindset.
3: Gangs of New York - Daniel Day Lewis' Bill is, without exception, the best performance I've ever seen. Period.
4: Hedwig and the Angry Inch - I love this film because, despite the fact that the life of Hedwig seems so out of reach, it's not. It's not about what happens to her, it's about being lonely, which everyone can identify with.
5: Bamboozled - The best film Spike Lee has ever made, in my opinion. It's bitter, and it's funny, and it's sad, and it's beautiful all at the same time.
6: Oldboy - The movie that introduced me to Chanwook Park. He's one of the three directors (Darren Aronofsky and Chris Nolan being the others...) that I will watch anything they make, just based on the good will they've built up.
7: Mystery Science Theatre 3000: The Movie - I can quote all of it. I want it on DVD so badly...
8: High Fidelity / About A Boy - I know, it's lazy to chunk together the Nick Hornby movies, but they fill the same slot. I love the fact that Nick can write these unrepentant assholes with such ease.
9: The Big Lebowski - A shout out to my youth. Lebowski is so absurd that you can't help but love it.
10: Big Fish - A new addition to the list. I cry, literally, every time I see this movie. So I figure something that garners such a reaction should be here.
Honorable Mention: The Fountain.
Recently Dropped: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Frankly, I just couldn't take it when every single emo kid co-opted it for their life. It's still a wonderful movie, I just got too tired of it. That is all you need to know.

The State of Television as I see it: If I had more time, I'd probably watch Lost, but as I see it now, the survivors are just getting fucking railroaded, so I'm just not that interested right now. Call me when they get the upper hand. The best fictional show on television is Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I greedily consume anything that has to do with Project Runway. I mainly watch television shows in DVD format (Scrubs, Stella, Batman and Justice League, Entourage, Extras, South Park, Upright Citizen's Brigade, Earlier Sopranos.) To conclude, I stand by the one truth that Arrested Development is the best thing to ever be on television. Period. Update: If you have a chance, watch Friday Night Lights. It's great. Podcast Schedule: Lots of gaming podcasts, especially in the 1Up Network - 1Up Yours, Retronauts, EGM Live, PTI, GFW Radio, Joystiq, Legendary Thread, Lynchland, One Life Left, Slate Podcasts (I have a crush on Emily Bazelon...she's so smart...), The Ricky Gervais Show and This American Life.

Jonas Brandon recently moved to Nashville from the small town of Benton, KY. With his irresistible charm and incredible range, Brandon has quickly, and almost effortlessly, built an impressive list of filmography. He has established himself as a diverse performer on many stages, on television, and in both mainstream and independently produced films -- including the Will Ferrell comedy Talladega Nights and his portrayal of four very different eligibles in Matt Riddlehoover's To A Tee. A technology aficionado, Brandon also owns and operates his own IT support company, Geeks For Hire. Incidentally, and however appropriate, he is currently preparing to produce and star in a computer consultant comedy next spring.
