The best way to know life is to love many things

About Me

All I want is 10 acres for my dogs and a barn for my studio...
I am a teacher and a student. A musician and an author. I love to photograph life as if through the eyes of a child. For me, the purpose of doing music is not to make money from it, but to make a difference in people's lives by doing it. That may sound really hippy, but whatever-I mean it. .
As a self-taught pianist, I began composing instrumental piano pieces when I was 15, shortly after the death of my Mother. Inspired by the gift of life I have never stopped creating music. I cherish every breath. You never know when it will be your last day, so do what your heart tells you to (or shut up and move on:)
This past summer I recorded, produced and released my first recording. Now I am immersing myself in my studies so that I can be a teacher. I love working with children. It's the only job I've found where I can use my creativity constantly, as if writing a song. (and I know how much I money I'll make each week;)
I won't be playing out much while I'm in school (only 1 year left!) but I will be doing plenty of writing so stay tuned. Once I'm a teacher I'll have plenty of time to tour -having summers off and all-so you'll just have to wait a little bit longer until my next round of shows...
