my favorite thing to do is gymnastics . I have watched gymnasts perform on the t.v. since I was six years old. and I told my mom that I want to be a gymnast so when my friend was six years old she was in gymnastics at a place called Twin City twisters Gymnastics she has doing gymnastics since she was six years old. well when I was about 20 years old I met my first best friend in the whole wide world and her name is Stephanie westfall and I saw her in her gymnastics class and her coach wanted someone who knew how to do a cartwheel and I said I do and then she let me show my friend a cartwheel and then she told me that I should sign up for gymnastics here. so I talked with my mom about it and she signed me up for gymnastics and my best friend and I wer,e on the same team together it was great. our first area meet was at Twin City Twisters Gymnastics and she did her floor routine and she got second then I got up and I did mine and for the first time ever I did a great job I got a 9.8 for my score and I got first place I got all blue ribbons and then for our state meet we went to the university of Minnesota and we got to go and Compete there it was so much fun. I got first place in state and so did my best friend I was so proud of her. we went to camp together and then when we came back from camp she told me that she had to tell me some sad news and that it might make me cry. well I said let me the sad news and get it over with . so she told me the sad news . she told me that her mom told her that they wer,e moving away to pensacola flordia that was in about 2002-2003 and I told her that I was not going to do gymnastics anymore cause she was not there. then she said can I give you some advice from one friend to another and I said ok let me hear it. and she told me never to give up and to always follow my dreams. so after she left I was still in gymnastics and it was 2004-2005 and I was still competing in gymnastics and she told me that was great then in about 2006 I was in Champlin Park Minnesota at Twin CIty Twisters and I also bowl on fridays on a league and there was a nationals selections for special olympians across the united states and I was selected for a interview the interview went great the day I was at bowling my mom got a phone she cried so hard she was in tears the phone call was from the head of delagations for special olympics it was Rosa Magnus calling to tell me that I had made it to go to the first ever Usa National Special olympics games held in ames Iowa in 2006 I went and I competed and I did awesome. I took home with 3 silver, 2 bronze , and A gold from Nationals in 2006 I am still in gymnastics and it is my 15th year in gymnastics this year I am at a new gymnastics place now in hopkins minnesota Called Mini-hops Gymnastics Club the end
