About Me

After spending more than a year with Johnny Lee's Urban Cowboy Band, Rusty recently took over the lead guitar role for fellow Oklahoman Ty England. Ty's newest music has really caught on in the Texas market, so he and the boys are on the road quite a bit. You can find them in the smallest Texas saloons or the biggest fairgrounds in the country - either way you're going to see an energetic show!
The Moore, Oklahoma native has enjoyed playing a major role in the OKC music scene for many years but is currently focused on road projects that keep him traveling the country and meeting new people in music. He will be the first to explain though that sharing the stage with "the original Urban Cowboy" is one of the major highlights of his colorful career. "You gotta admit -- getting to play the guitar line to 'Lookin for Love' as JL leaves the stage every night is just cool...period."
Long-time crowd favorites such as "The Weatherman" and "Girls of Yesterday" still echo in the clubs around Oklahoma, and while concentrating on his guitar duties and busy touring schedule, Rusty continues to develop his catalog of original material. As always, things are definitely moving in the right direction, so stay tuned...good stuff is happening every day!
