Keys For Locks

About Me

What if Paul Simon created a test tube baby with Nina Simone and decided to raise the child an agnostic Jew? And what if they then decided that the best way to inspire their child was to live in a yurt by Lake Superior and read Beck's grade school diary for breakfast and listen to Ali Farka Toure for a bedtime snack? What if they then hired Nick Drake as live-in nanny who mostly just stared at the child in utter silence but sometimes hummed Marc Chagall's dreams during bathtime. Do you follow me? Well their is such a boy and he was kidnapped by Alex Goldfarb and forced to write songs for him in exchange for pancakes and softball lessons and Alex doesn't even own a softball glove or is it a mitt?=================================================Alex Goldfarb is a Minneapolis based songwriter who often performs solo with his guitar and voice box, though sometimes is accompanied by friends who create all sorts of magic. He has been in hiding for the last 3 or so years but is rumored to be excruciatingly close to finishing his 2nd album. Magnifying Glass, his first, is down right moody and available on cdbaby.com and itunes.
