THIS SPACE WAS SET UP AS A MEMORIAL TO LAMONT BY HIS WIFE SHEREE. HE WAS A BLESSING TO ME AND IS GREATLY AND DEEPLY MISSED. IF YOU KNEW LAMONT JUST GIVE A SHOUT OUT IN THE COMMENT SECTION!!!!!!!!!
One day Lamont had a "Revelation" that he would gain a "New Life" and heaven would be his home.
So he said yes, "My Mind is Made Up", I'm going to "Walk Like Jesus" even if I have to walk alone.
Lamont had "No Doubt" in his mind that the Lord was "So Good"
So he became a "Witness" like every Christian should.
Lamont was heaven bound, and he told everyone, "He'll Welcome Me!" He knew that because he promised God, "Lord I'll Go" according to your plan
because you alone have given me "Another Chance."
"How Much Do I Owe?" Lamont asked the Lord one day.
The Lord answered you have labored enough take your "Two Wings" and fly away!
I "Thank You Lord" for the time Lamont had here,
family and friends know, your love is shown through your prayers and "Your Tears."
"I Won't Complain" about missing my sunshine
because if we "Get Right Church" we'll get to see Lamont again "One More Time!"
---I wrote this poem using the titles of some of the songs Lamont sang at church and this peom is displayed on his headstone at Ottawa Hills Memorial for family and friends to know I love you and thank God for all you, even now 5 almost 6 years later. The pain has eased but words can never express how I much I miss him!
