The Disco Pimps

WE GOT THE FUNK!

About Me

Hailing from the streets of L.A. (Lower Akron), where they formally Pimped everything from 8-track stereos to lava lamps out of the trunks of their El Dorados. This unusually gifted group of Funk Masters combined forces to make the L.A. Disco scene of the 70's explode and become the international phenomenon that it is known for. Today, the band continues to bring the funkiest show to all venues across the country. Pimp Daddy Spike heads up this group of disco kings known as The Disco Pimps. Be sure to catch this funk/disco packed show when the group rolls into a club near you! You Dig?I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

Band Members: Singer/front man Pimp Daddy Spike, who has shared the stage (and many groupies) with none other than Sly of Sly and The Family Stone. Leads this notorious band through the show with wild, groovy stage antics and soulful vocals that keep the women coming back fo' mo'.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Fun ky Bass playa and I do mean playa, Pimp Mo Luv, AKA Maurice LuvDolay, lays down the funky rhythm that gives The Pimps the ability to groove like no other. Mo Luv is still the only Pimp that hasn't completely given up his old Pimpin' ways, and always mysteriously seems to disappear with loose, morally deficient women right after laying down the funky bass grooves that leaves the crowd wanting more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Neon Pimp is best know for his ruthless guitar solos and flashy Bling Bling accessories. It is a known fact that Neon can make any woman quiver wit passion as he whips out one of his funky guitar licks. "Dat shit iz tru! I seen dat happen befo." Says Pimp Spike. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Fina lly, Pimp Daddy Chico Funkarelli AKA "Pimp Funk" has the funkiest drum beats known in Funk music. Pimp Funk has grooved with the likes of; Gladys Night & The Pips, Quincy Jones and even taught his good friend Stevie Wonder how to play the drums. When Pimp Funk is not Funkin' up the crowd, he finds solitude cooking in his Mama's Italian restaurant located in Little Italy.
