I am here for Friends

About Me

I am a person who is always seeking.Seeking to know God more, seeking to know my family more, seeking to live a better life with more purpose.I am not seeking monetary things, but spiritual things, because if things make you happy, you will never have enough. But practice being grateful, spreading kindness wherever you can,and then you will truly be blessed.I have learned that even when someone breaks your heart, you have to say "you're forgiven" because then you become free yourself.I have learned to look upon others for what their soul contains, not on what people think of their appearance.Life is a marvelous thing, and if you don't wake up each and every day being humbled by the fact that you are here, breathing, and able to make choices, I feel sorry for you.I love art, poetry, writing, and outsider art.Music is something that I have loved my whole life, and all different kinds, not really anything in particular.I have all different kinds of friends, because I try to see the beauty in everyone.Even if you think you haven't got anything in common with someone,if you sit and talk to them, you find out just how much you do have in common.I wish you joy and peace, and hope you enjoy your stop here.Blessings to you. My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Poets,Saints,Artists,Writers,Musicians, because we all have some of those qualities.Just friends. But Jesus, most of all.

Books:

The Bible, autobiographies, historical, have been reading about the early church fathers Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, and Polycarp. Also,Architecture for the Poor: An Experiment in Rural Egypt by Fathy, Hassan, really interesting.Usually, I have about 3-5 books going at once.

Heroes:

The hero is one who kindles a great light in the world, who sets up blazing torches in the dark streets of life for men to see by.~My dad, whom I miss each and every day.My son who is the strong silent man who quietly does good deeds for others and never expects anything in return. My daughter who has gone through such tough times and has always picked herself up and kept going on, usually with a smile on her face. And each day, I encounter people who have gone through so much, but still keep going on and making the most of what God has given them.I am humbled and honored to know them.
