Roland Jack then moved his membership to Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church where he served on the praise team, and was an assistant to the youth choir director.While in Houston, Roland was able to accomplish many achievements as a young adult. He worked at the Ensemble Theater doing musical theater, and also had the opportunity to work with Yolanda Adams, all while still attending the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.The next path of his life would lead him to Dillard University in New Orleans, LA, where he became one of the first people to sit on the staff, and be a student at the University. Roland Jack was the Director of Music for the VisionQuest program. VisionQuest is a program that assists students in making vocational decisions. During his time with VisionQuest he organized conducted workshops with national recording artists such as Richard Smallwood, Donald Lawrence, and Ledisi, exposing other students to national artists. After being a special musical guest at Historic St. James A.M.E. Church, Roland met Pastor Martin. D. Odom and was offered a job working in the St. James A.M.E. Church in New Orleans, LA.His junior year afforded him the opportunity of having an internship with Festival Productions Inc. This company produces festivals all over the world including the Essence Music Festival, and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival which brought hundreds of thousands of people to the city of New Orleans. After his internship was completed the company offered him a position in their music booking department. Roland Jack has had the opportunity to work with such artists as Faith Evans, Stevie Wonder, Destiny's Child, and many more.Roland Jack now resides in Harrisburg, PA where he is serving as the Minister of Worship Through the Arts for The Bethel Village African Methodist Episcopal Church under the leadership of Rev. Martin D. Odom. Roland is already using his talents and his relationship with the music industry to the Harrisburg area by hosting a Katrina Benefit concert that featured Daryl Coley, and Ted & Sheri. He has also planned a concert with Yolanda Adams and J. Moss.Most recently Roland Jack has signed on to work with Diego Music Group, a record label based out of San Diego California, as the Artist Relations/Development Director. Diego Music Groups roster includes the legendary Daryl Coley.Look out for Roland Jack at a church near you!
