Jersey would like to raise some awareness for teens and young adults across America about suicide and depression. From the ages of 15-19 suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death, 15-25 its the 3rd leading cause, and the 11th leading cause of death in america for all ages. More than 100 people will die from suicide this week. More teens have died from suicide than aids, cancer, and heart diseases. Depression and substance abuse are some of the leading problems in suicide.
