Anthony Bosco

------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------Anthony Bosco is originally from Drexel Hill, PA, where he began his musical endeavors as a self-taught rock guitarist. He recently completed his Masters of Music in guitar performance at the Peabody Conservatory. Anthony performs regularly as a classical soloist for concerts, masterclasses, and other events. He is a also a member of the Bosco-Shannon Duo, with fellow guitarist Kevin Shannon. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------While very busy studying and performing, Anthony also teaches general music classes and chorus full time at an elementary school in Towson, MD. He has performed with several local rock bands in the Philadelphia area, as a member of the WCU Guitar Ensemble, the Munier Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra, and several other acoustic projects.Recent memorable performances include a house concert for the Fortissimo group, Kevin Shannon's graduate recital, a recording with the Peabody Symphony Orchestra, Duo performances for the Peabody Chamber Music Concerts, and Masterclasses for Manuel Barrueco and Ana Vidovic. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------ABOUT THE RECORDINGS: Scarlatti Sonata - Bosco-Shannon duo live in concert at Peabody, 2006 (arr.
