right first off my names not really george its ian,george is just a nickname that i got given when i was eighteen and its kinda stuck with me.I live in wallasey and have just bought a house with my fiancee kelly,weve been together for nearly seven years and engaged for four weve got no kids,but instead weve got two rabbits shankly and paisley. i work as a college tutor in the daytime teaching plastering to learners aged between 16 and 19 and i sing of an evening.I started singing about 7 years ago in a local band called Cut the mustard and played in many of the local venues around Birkenhead, i then decided to change around a bit and started gigging in local pubs using backing tracks(glorified karaoke really, money for old rope).I then joined another band called 'proper rock'(shit name i know but i never chose it) and then couldnt be arsed looking for a new drummer when Colin left us so carried on with the solo work, i now gig most weekends around the Wirral in local venues but i am also in an acoustic duo called Maybe with my mate Ryan Jones and we gig in Jack Rabbit Slims every Thursday were we host a jam night so if youre interested come along,get up and sing a few songs or just play guitar its up to you, we also play in Sonnys on the Square every Friday and Sunday from 6-8 were we just play anything that takes our fancy from the Arctic monkeys to Squeeze or whatever people are requesting if you like acoustic music and a lot of shite spoken in between songs then its just the place for you.i am currently trying to write some original stuff which hopefully should be on myspace in the very near future so keep on checking.
