Hello all. My name is Warren K. Worthington III, but you may call me Angel. As I'm sure you have intuited by now - I am a mutant. I've always been a mutant, though I didn't always know it. That knowledge was brought on by the sudden growth of wings from my back when I was fifteen and away at boarding school. Needless to say, adjusting has been difficult for me and my family. The Cure crossed my mind more than once, and I came very close to being its first test subject. Luckily I have since come to terms with my special abilities and no longer have any desire to lose them. In fact, my wings are everything to me. Both a blessing and a curse, they are nevertheless an integral part of my identity and I am ashamed to have hidden them for so long. My close friends, however, know the reasons behind my actions...
Speaking of friends, I am happy to announce that I have settled in comfortably at Xavier, the mutant-oriented school run by Professor Xavier himself. The other students proved friendly and welcoming upon my arrival (despite me being the target of their constant stares - quite understandably, of course), and combat training sessions are as fun as they are challenging. I grow more confident every day.
If you have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to ask UNLESS it regards the development of the Cure or any of the current projects at Worthington Industries. My father prefers privacy in these matters.
