Marxy is w. david marx. Marxy is an American living in Tokyo, Japan. Marxy’s debut album kyoshu nostalgia was released by New York City’s Beekeeper Records in 2005. His follow up "forty years from now" will be released in may 2008 on NYC’s Music Related. Marxy wrote, performed, and produced all the songs on the album. The Marxy ep beaus in disarray is still available on Music Related ’s creation-centre web imprint.
Marxy writes articles and does translation for such magazines as GQ, Harper’s Magazine, Theme, Tokion, The Fader, Beikoku Ongaku, and OK Fred. He is also the Chief Editor of Néojaponisme .
