There's a fresh anointing falling on the ministry of John Tillery & Living Sacrifice. This group of young people, from the nation's capital city Washington, DC, have a musical style that incorporates praise & worship with an urban sound that ushers the listener into the presence of God.
John Tillery & Living Sacrifice has worked with a list of who's who, in gospel music gospel music industry, i.e: Albertina Walker, Richard Smallwood, the late Ron Winans, Keith Pringle, Twinkie Clark, Martha Walsh, Rev. Milton Bigham, Kayla Parker, Kimberly McFarland and the list goes on and on.
Sharing the same stage with such artists as John P. Kee and New Life, Hezekiah Walker & LFCC, Tramaine Hawkins, The Richard Smallwood Singers, Yolanda Adams, The Pace Sisters, Mississippi Mass Choir, James Moore, Darryl Coley, Vickie Winans, Bobby Jones, Shirley Ceasar, Whitley Phipps, The Williams Brothers, Wilmington Chester Mass Choir and many other artists, has afforded them the opportunity to receive great exposure and to gain a wide spectrum of supporters throughout the country.
Their first cd entitled "God Is Still On The Throne"was released in 1994 on the Vectron Records of New York. Their second release was "Romans 12:1" in on Danbla Records of New Jersey. "Romans 12:1" charted throughout the country and earned them the #1 spot on Gospel USA Magazine's "Top 30 Independent Artist Releases". The CD was also featured in Gospelflava's end of the year review in 2000.
This year, the group has been nominated for an En Sound Entertainment Award for "Choir of the Year" and will perform live at the award show, August 19th in Newark, NJ.
Their lastest offering is "Transformation" released in 2006 on Danbla Records and distributed by Book World Distribution. This CD is blazing up the charts across the country, earning them spots on R&R charts for the first five weeks of the new year.
The group have appeared on Bobby Jones International Gospel Artist Retreat on the WORD Network and Bobby Jones Gospel on BET. Look out for their new video on your local gospel video shows in your area.
Slated for a 16 city tour this summer, John Tillery & Living Sacrifice are truly representing their true calling. When they are not ministering on the road, you can always find them at their local church serving and receiving a word and revelation for their lives!
