Drew Hickum & the Colonels

About Me

In less time than it takes to learn how to make really good pancakes, Drew, Lisa, Adam and Peter have made some serious headway in a crowded field of talented musicians. Drew Hickum (and various friends) have been lucky enough to open for Mary Gauthier, The Nields, Marshall Crenshaw, the Mountain Goats, etc...and have had great time in the process. Drew's first song ever, the one he wrote because he felt like playing music, was selected in a songwriting contest for American Songwriter Magazine...but that's not really that important. What really matters is that they've met some pretty great people along the way. New York, Boston, Northampton--the New England Music Triangle--has been good so far...what will the future hold?
