.My name is Adolph Hitler and I was born on the 20th of April, 1889, in a small Austrian town of Braunau near the German border. I had four siblings, but only my younger sister and I lived to actually be adults.
While in secondary school I liked to boss the other children around. I enjoyed games that involved fighting and loved re-enacting battles from the Boer War. I registered for military services in 1909, but hated the idea of actually serving Austria. In 1914, after ignoring my follow up papers for four years, my medical for the Austro-Hungarian Army went very pourly because I was rejected as being: "Unfit for combatant and auxiliary duty - too weak. Unable to bear arms."
After World War 1 had started I ended up volunteering for the German Army. The medical exams weren't so important in times of war. I volunteered for many dangerous missions, which impressed my commanding officers. I enjoyed the excitement of being in the army and the feeling that I was in a large group which was fighting for a common goal. I ended up getting the job of despatch runner, which was an extremely dangerous job, since 3 out of 8 runners were killed each day. I won five different metals throughout World War 1, including the prestigous Iron Cross. Although I recieved these, I only ended up reaching corporal position because they thought me to be eccentric and didn't know if the other men would follow somebody like me. My "eccentricity" probably emmerged from the fact that I would spend long periods of time sitting in a corner, and then would sometimes jump up and make speeches, usually attacking Jews, or Marxists.
In 1918, I was blinded by chlorine gas and was sent to a military hospital. Gradually, I regained my sight, but during that time Germany surrendered and I then entered a state of depression.
Much later on, I ended up being on the executive committy of the German Workers Party. I was the propaganda person for the GWP and was the main speaker for the party. In my speeches, I would always be late to create a sence of tension, and then during them I would gesticulate, rock back and forth, and my voice would become very passionate. At the end of my speeches the people would be willing to do anything I wanted them to do.
I saw socialism as part of a Jewish conspiracy, but ever since the first world war, socialism has been the biggest party in Germany. I therefore redefined socialism. I placed the word 'National' before it. I claimed I was only in favour of equality for those who had "German blood". Jews and other "aliens" would lose their rights of citizenship, and immigration of non-Germans should be brought to an end. From there, it is history.
