Pantan sing in Friulano, a minoritary language of a north east part of Italy. The group was born in 2000 , the same year they won the Premi Friul , an influential event in Friuli Venezia Giulia, promoted by Radio Onde Furlane. In 2001 came out the first album Pantan, produced by Radio Onde Furlane.After 3 years of an intense concert activity in may 2005 came out their new album No Vain, co-produced by Radio Onde Furlane and Nota records. With this cd Pantan are at the 13th position of request top list on Electic eye radio (New York) side by side with big artist lke Foo Figters, Aerosmith, Goldfrapp, U2. At march 2006 their video is on Nu Roads the telecast about new musician trend of Rai Due (the national italian television). The second album, as the first, is still absolutely rock: the texts present a large care for social problems and Pantan sing in a loud voice looking as the local sphere as the international one.Pantan exploit the onomatopoeical power and the synthesis strength of the friulano language joining them to the impuls of rock music.
