I am originally from the lower east side of manhattan thats what they use to call it , now they call it the "East Village ", my residence now is jersey city , I am a laid back , funny , witty guy who enjoys a good laugh , Ive been spinning music since way back when !!!!!!, using cds now,wax is too heavy these days lol, although I miss that warm sound, started my interest in Djing when I was 14 yrs old snuck into a club in the village called the Gas Station stood there till 3 am on a school night mesmerised by the music and lights, needless to say my pops knocked the shit out of me when I got home, but that was my start,from then on I got into other clubs and observed other Djs spin ( I was tall for my age ), clubs like the Electric Circus on st. marks place ( people my age would remember )from that time I played in the streets on the lower east side , using old garrard turntables , A p.a. mixer and a pair of old peavy p.a. speakers , for applification an old Dynaco tube amp , how classic is that , the actual first place I played was Trudehellers on ninth st and 6th ave in the village which is now a deli , they used Thorens turntables and a very small two channel mixer ( no bells no whistles ) and about six Bose 901s,which sounded pretty clean, from then on I played in small various bar clubs in manhattan, In the late 70s I moved to N.J. and played some clubs in Jersey City , Timbers, Hocus Pocus , and a roller rink called Outer Skates , the next few years I remained mobile until the mid eighties where raising a family was more important, in the mid 90s I fell in love again with the wheels of steel, and began doing mobile gigs again. I presently belong to Sure Record Pool in the bronx ( big shout out to Bobby Davis from Sure Record Pool )Right now I am doing mobile gigs I enjoy spinning music for all who love the dance music genre whatever it maybe......
