About Me

I make what I feel and I feel what I make. Sometimes it isn't loud enough, or rude enough, or sweet enough, or swanky or dirty enough, but it's mine.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: I'm currently working (or have worked) with some of the most amazingly talented people. If you see them around, give them a hug, they're special. Will O'Riley, Todd Nestor & Jay Schreiber of the Niche have sort of adopted me, they put up with lots of crap. Willy, Todd and I have been working on meshing our unique styles so that we can write and perform together. Will plays the mandolin, piano, and guitar, while Todd plays a little of everything. Jay, who you can find as Slow Light on my profile, has spent hours of his precious time recording, re-recording, snipping, altering, cutting and wrapping music with me. He's great. Brian Beyer (Mob3) and Andy Wendt (Whiskey Lane) have recently combined their bands to create the group Moonshiner. They're always indulgent enough to let me push them into learning songs I can sing. In the past, I've written and performed with my old friend Andy Ruddy and his band Engroovement, they're going places. Adam Netto is a library of popular music, if you want to hear something, go see him and ask him to play it. I'll eventually be writing and performing stuff with The Whalebirds, led by my good friend Pat McAnulty; expect beautiful things. There are many others, and I love them and appreciate them more than they know.
Influences: Ani Difranco, Indigo Girls, Nickel Creek, Maia Archote, Jewel, Jay Brown, The Allman Brothers, Jason Mraz, Rusted Root, Mae.
Sounds Like: A trash compactor in mid-morning.

Where does music go when you’re busy?

I am going to make an honest effort to get back to music next week. I've started a second job, which leaves me little to no time for luxeries. I've been neglecting my rats, reading, general cleaning, ...
