Sandy Hüner released his first tracks in the beginning of the nineties under names like Babies From Gong and Pure on some of the most prestigious labels at the time. His tracks could be found on labels like Eevolute, ESP and Beechwood where 15 releases followed in quick succession.
In this same period, driven by a need for creative freedom Sandy and Dylan Hermelijn [2000 and One] teamed up. Based in Amsterdam, their label 100% Pure finally allowed them creative leeway to focus their energy on creating and managing their own sounds. Soon releases came from techno visionaries like Steve Rachmad, Orlando Voorn and Steffan Robbers. Detroit legend Derrick May also found his way onto their catalogue.
With the release of their “100% Pure – The Lowlands†album on the highly acclaimed New Electronica label, the tidal wave had struck and featured album reviews came from N.M.E, Melody Maker etc.
Soon after Sandy and Dylan parted company and Sandy pursued a career in IT Design and Development.
Throughout the years his passion and talent for spotting good music has remained. Inspired by the new scene of artists in his home town of Amsterdam, Sandy is once again deeply involved in music.
Having met Dave Ellesmere the two quickly forged a strong friendship which has resulted in the first release for their new label thirtyonetwenty.
